Just click open to view a selected help document. Click the next "open" link and the previous document will close and your new document will open. That's it.
How do I make a sub category: Open
  1. Admin --> Category --> enter in to the category by clicking the folder on the left of it, then at the bottom you'll see a button that says "New Category"

 

How to print your Invoice and Packing slip?: Open


When you print the page your should be in one of two places.
  1. Customers/Orders --> Invoice (button)
  2. Customers/Orders --> Packing Slip (button)

Within both of these pages there is a link at the top left of the page "Print" click that link and your system will print only what is on the page.

 

How do I edit my home page?: Open


Login to your Admin area. Once logged in you'll see on the left hand side of your screen a link named "Content Manager" click it. You Will see more links drop down. The link that holds the main page paragraph is called "Define MainPage"

 

How do I edit/change Check or Money Order information?: Open

  1. Go to your admin section of your site.
  2. Click on Modules
  3. Click on Check/Money Order
  4. If it is not installed click "Install" if it is installed click "Edit" 
  5. In edit mode you will see that in the last text field it reads "Make Payable to:" in that box after the : place your payable information you need there.

How do I edit my store address?: Open

  1. Login to your admin section
  2. Click on Configuration
  3. Scroll down till you see "Store Address and Phone"
  4. Click it, then click the Edit Button
  5. Place your Address in the text area
 

How do I add Events?: Open


Once logged in to your admin you will see on the left hand side of your screen a menu link named "Marketing" click it. You Will see more links drop down. The link that holds the event manager is called "Events Manager" click it.

  1. Click on the button that is called "new event". It is located at the top of the screen
  2. You'll see the event manager page
  3. You must select an event start date and a title
  4. Describe the event.
  5. If you have special product that will be on sale at that event you can specify them here.
  6. Optional: Link to a special page or website
  7. Optional: Add an image.
Event years will drop as the years change. Event that span the course of 2 to 5 years will still be visible as events for that year but not for the dropped year since it is no longer available.

 

How do I edit or add a new "Order Status" name?: Open


Once logged in to your admin you will see on the left hand side of your screen a menu link named "Localization" click it. You Will see more links drop down. The link that holds the event manager is called "Order Status" click it.

  1. Select the order status name you would like to chage
  2. Click the edit button located on the right side of the screen
  3. Change the name to what ever you want then click "update"
  4. You're done.

 

How do I edit or add a dropdown menu options with price: Open

Log in to your admin. Assuming you have made the appropriate attributes with the attribute manager you can begin to add them to the actual product by going to your:

  1. Catalog --> Choose a folder and then Choose the product.
  2. Once the Product is chosen you can see that there are additional edit options on the right top of the page. Choose Edit Attributes.
  3. Choose the Options that you will use for the product then click save and reload, it is at the bottom of the page. once the options are selected you can now start to add the option values.
  4. When you add the option values you can add the prefix + or - sign to control the dollar value that you can implement to the right. This will allow you to subtract or add value to your selection. This is an addition to the cost of the product, so if the product is $10 and the option value is -$5.75 the cost to the customer at check-out will be $4.25.
  5. The sort order is to allow you control of what value is shown first. As in a race the winner has the value of 1 and all other have a higher value. So in the case of sort ordering it is suggested that you allow for movement, so give the number values in increments of 10. 10,20,30 will allow 30 to move up a level by changing just its value to 19, so now what was 30 is now 19 and is in the middle 10,19,20. this can not be done if the numbers are sequential 1,2,3. 1,2,3 forces you to have to change two if not all numbers and becomes a hassle in the advance development of attributes.
